A Table for Two

CulinaryResort Life

As Valentine’s Day approaches, love is all around, and what better way to celebrate than by cozying up with a delicately prepared meal at a romantic spot with your special someone? As sweethearts unite all across our coastal city, we have just the list to get you started on your romantic dining plans.

For the second consecutive year, one of our favorite swoon-worthy restaurants, Salacia Prime Seafood & Steaks, made OpenTable’s list of Top 100 Most Romantic Restaurants in America! A AAA Four-Diamond restaurant fittingly named after King Neptune’s beloved wife, Salacia is located within the Hilton Virginia Beach Oceanfront and serves up expertly prepared delicacies along with a perfectly curated Wine Spectator “Award of Excellence” wine list. Located within the same hotel, Catch 31 Fish House and Bar offers exceptional views of the Resort Beach and of Neptune Park, as well as unbeatably fresh seafood and cocktails. On a clear evening, cozy up out on their patio and enjoy your starlit celebration fireside.

A few blocks north, Eat - An American Bistro is serving up an eclectic menu of New American cuisine prepared to perfection. The small, intimate setting provides the perfect backdrop to a night of love, laughter and an unforgettable dining experience. This place books up fast, so reservations are recommended. While their wine list is top-notch, don’t miss out on the cocktail creations coming out of their bar! A short drive away, Zoës Steak & Seafood is the perfect spot for a romantic ambience, mouthwatering food and a glass (or three) of wine. Chef Jesse Wykle works closely with his renowned sommelier to provide a complete dining experience that will have your taste buds dancing.

So, book your table, kick up the romance and raise a glass to your valentine. We are celebrating love in our coastal city, and there’s plenty to go around. Bon appetit!
